Remember Aug 31st 1997? I do! I'm sitting in a hotel room in Brunei and the TV is tuned to CNN. Breaking News - Princess Diana, Princess of Wales - has died in a car crash in Paris.

Its been 10 years now, she's still a legend. Still in the hearts of many. Definitely in the heart of mine. The things she did for the poor and unfortunate. Her charm and smile melts ANYONE's heart. She is truly someone with a beautiful face and heart. She would have made an awesome mother to Prince William and Prince Harry. She remains the People's Princess.

10 years on and she remains in my heart. I constantly remind myself to be more caring towards people I love and others as well.

Although gone from the surface of the land she walks on, she's alive in many other aspects. Princess Di, rest in peace. You are a hero. (or rather heroin) And shall forever be someone everyone looks up to.

Yes people, I'm back. Not exactly the kinda news you all favour? hahahaha Too bad! I'm back and you guys better like it. If not then DEAL with it.

And don't bother queueing up for souvenirs because I didn't go shopping at all. My mum and sisters did. I became the nice sister to my lil bro. Stayed in the hotel to accompany him swim. Sad to say, but I'm cool with it. I did enjoy the swim. I miss swimming BADLY!!!!! Although the water was WAYYYY too cold for my liking at first. But you get used to it. Want me to go all scientific and tell you why we get used to it?? Its called homeostasis. The body's mechanisms' reluctance to change. So what happens is... the nerves on your body receives the stimulus (the change or whatever you please) and sends the signal to your spinal cord which will send the signal to your brain... which will tell your nerves to activate certain 'motors' to resist the change... Like dilating or constricting your blood vessels.... AHHH I'm BORING you people aren't I? Hahahha Well I had fun whilst it lasted.

Anyway, I'll upload some pictures and tell you guys about the trip on another day. When I'm not so worn out.

Hmm, here's some Malaysian news that not many Malaysians know.

Kuala Lumpur's 'Teksi" goes on Strike

I came back from China last night, or rather this early morning. Our family couldn't fit into ONE taxi alone, so we had a taxi driver whom we know pick us up. She (yea its a woman) couldn't drive her red taxi to the airport to pick us up for two reasons. 1) It is now a "ruling" that normal red taxis are not allowed to pick up passengers from KLIA, only can drop them off. 2) KL's taxis are on strike. I say that it couldn't be a better timing. Whilst people are out counting down and the city is packed with people, normal sane humans wouldn't want to drive their cars out because of the traffic. So most of them take public transport. But little do they know that the taxis are on strike. The reason: they want to increase the fare but there's a national outcry. Well, who's to blame? The government? The employers? The employees? Everyone? I don't know. To me there's no one to blame. Everything is increasing in price - petrol, sugar, rice etc etc. So if the petrol prices are increasing, I don't see why taxi drivers can't increase their fares. Serves people right if they can't hail a taxi. (hehe, because I don't take the taxi anyway. hahaha)

OK, why the government? Because they have the power to say yes or no. Its only fair if they work faster la. Employers and employees? One for not increasing people's pay as the cost of living increases. And the other for not working hard enough to have a deserving increase in pay. I'm speaking in general, so don't get offended.

If its a reasonable increase, I don't mind. But if its unreasonable... I bloody mind, yea yea, I don't take the taxi but I mean, pakai OTAK!

Yea, the taxi drivers are on strike till Sept 1st, or that's what my source is saying. But she's not that sure and it could be longer. So people, take the bus or train. Or better. JUST BLOODY WALK!!!

What a way to celebrate Merdeka. People can't go home because there are no taxis. Independence? Sad sad story

I'm sooo tired. I need to start losing weight. Eat and eat - no exercise. Boohoo! DO NOT invite me out to lunch. I'll chop your head and cook soup with it and serve it to my fishes. Kinda stupid considering that fishes don't DRINK soup. They cant. =S Silly me.

I miss my doggy! Going to go play with her in a while. Ohhh yea, and I still wanna get a Golden Retriever puppy and train it. At least until I leave to Uni. But my mum is reluctant.. SIGH!!!! I want a puppy!!!! *sob sob*

OH yea, Happy Merdeka! Its kind of a funny sight this Merdeka. There are less and less cars sporting the Malaysian flag.

alright, I'm off now. I gotta take a rest.

I'm enjoying myself in China. I'm sorry people, that I gotta rub it in. I'm just too happy here.

(its all I'm I'm I'm. Too self-centered already - dui bu chi) Ahhh, improving on my Mandarin. You wait la, I come back to KL, Malaysia my Mandarin is gonna be soooooo good. Hahaha, I'm messing. Its gonna be a MESS... Just like how it is now. =P (so malu)

OK! Let me just update on some things now. Before I forget..

My flight to Shenzhen, China was at 8am 26th August 2007. I stayed up til about 2.30am on the 26th and decided to sleep. Julz, Jacobson and myself were sleeping on ONE single mattress. (funny sight) Jacobson slept with his hand holding his face, I do have a picture, but I will upload it another day when I get back. I had to wake up at 4am, but I managed to drag my sleep til about 4.30am. I had to get ready by 5am and be at the airport by 6am.

Bla bla bla. Reach airport and check in lugguage. and headed to our Gate at the correct time. In the plane, I slept a huge majority of the journey. We met with my parent's friends/supplier and headed for lunch. Kinda good. Checked into the hotel, Crowne Plaza (pictures soon... awesome I tell u) and then I slept throughout the whole day. Waking up for dinner. Italian dinner (pics soon).

Following day, left the hotel and headed to OCT. Its a huge theme park, but its not 100% completed. So yea, there's loads of things to do here and all. I'm having a blast. I'll update as soon as possible. I'm outta here. wheeee

Jacq's in China!!!

Sunderland - Liverpool

0 - 2

All due respect to Sunderland, they definitely played a fantastic game. BUT Liverpool certainly dominated. First half, the possession was 65% to Liverpool.

It was really awesome!

Anyway, and I shall also keep to my promise for last week's Liverpool's match against Chelsea. Where Liverpool got ROBBED by Chelsea and the referee. Fucking Bitches. Grrr Btw, the score was 1-1. Geram ok! 2 points in the drain. Grrr. Here we go la. PFfft!

Since I'll be away, I'll let you guys admire my sister, Julz and I. This picture was taking at Jogoya during dinner on 23rd August 2007.

Now, I know you all say that Julz and I look very alike, but if you say that we look alike in this picture (again) I'm really sorry, I still CANNOT see the resemblance. Grrr! And I could never see the resemblance in other photos as well.

Oh, my face kinda red right? Sigh!!! I swear, I was off alcohol! hahaha

Anyway, I'll be away from 26.08 - 30.08.2007. I'll be in Shenzhen, China. I will not be brining my phone. In fact, I've already turned it off. =P hehehe

Take care everyone!!!!! Toodles.

OK, I'm leaving to Shenzhen soon. I cannot WAIT!!!! Wheee! I wonder if I'll have the guts I had whilst in Gold Coast, Australia. Daring myself on rides and stuff. Unfortunately chickening out in Dreamworld - where all the crazy rides are! But I had lunch and I didn't want to puke mid-air. That's gross.

OK OK OK!!! I wanted to update about FHM 2007. Hahahaha But before I start, I'm currently updating my food blog on the dinner I had with my family and dad's supplier at Jogoya. Awesome place. There's 90 pictures. Yes NINETY!!!! and its all for your viewing pleasure. The glorious food and my family and the lovely ambience. But the crappy people there said that I cannot take photos of the buffet line and stuff like that. Cannot take photos of the food being displayed. They scared that I'm opening a restaurant and will 'curi' their ideas. Grr! I helping them PROMOTE!!! Idiots. But I make do with things, to satisfy your taste buds... Or rather, viewing pleasure. Hahaha. Enjoy and I'd advice to go there. =D oh and my food blog will be having loads of updates once I've posted about Jogoya. There's the weird lychee-rambutan fruit that I had. And Curry Chicken (homemade). So yea. Let's get on with life and let the food stay in my tummy and posted in the glory of my food blog.

FHM 2007. For Him Magazine? Fucking Horny Men? Ahh, let's see how I shall put this. Its an exhibition. Oooo-la-la. Exhibition of MEN!?!?!?!?! Hahaha, well there were men around, just it wasn't them on display. (Then what?? Then who???) It was things on display. Interesting things. Yummy things. Grrr! (if its not men, then is it sex toys?) Hmm, there's whipped cream. And chocolate. Loads of cakes. All my aphrodisiac. Hahahahaahahaha... OH YEA!!!!!!! Loads of sausages as well. Tasty I'm telling you. TASTY!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ROFL LMAO!!! Ok ok, let's get things straight, I'm not perverted of any sort (who am I kidding?)

Haha, ok its not anything that would interest you guys. Its an exhibition on food and things hotels would be interested in, like glassware, porcelain, ceramic and many things.

Its nothing much. But I went more for the exposure. And btw, its FUCKING boring. =P hehe

I've updated my food blog on dinner at Jogoya. Go enjoy. Do let the slideshow load. =D

Btw, after dinner - we were walking to Marriott's to get our cars and we saw Mahathir. My mum and aunt ML was the most excited. Should have taken a video or picture. Haha it was cool.

I've been missing for four days. And most of today because I slept till 2pm. Wahahaha! I'm telling you, I really deserve the extended sleep hours. I look fresh, and a little tanned. Wheee! I miss being tanned.

Anyway, these four days, I've been away, I've met soooo many people. Kinda cool and fun. I'm much more open and less reserved. Hahaha, don't be surprised if I tell you guys to study instead of play. wahahahaha! =P

Anyway, I won't talk much about this camp that I've been to. I've told some one or two people because they asked, but I don't think it would interest the whole lot of you guys. Its AKLTG! Really helped me. I'm gonna be so much more hardworking that you people will be a hell lot surprised at me. Lol.

Anyhow, if anyone from AKLTG reads this. Add me in MSN or something!!! =D Hope to hear from you guys. One of the most interesting 4 days of my life. haha

Wheee! I won't be back till the... 21st. Oh!!!

Hwei Jene, let's go HELP and collect the result slip thingy on 22nd or 23rd? You message me k?

Anyway, not much to say. Except I'm gonna be pretty busy. Once the holidays are over. I swear that I'm going to study my butt off. I'm still pondering whether I should resit my Further Maths paper... FP1. Haiz haiz! Should I just leave it as 3 subjects and be a 'failure' in my family. Well failure as in my brother took four subjects. Ah, its me no? Not him. I don't know. I really hope I can get an A for Physics and Biology. Further Maths I know that its a maximum A, unless I really want to work hard and wait till June to resit the papers. I doubt so. I guess I'll have a big ugly B on the result slip, hopefully that will be the only B. ahhh, very confused. If let's say I don't resit my FP1, I'll get a B. If let's say I resit FP1, there's a chance that I get an A, but only if I score 117... that's total bullshit. The max anyone can score is 100 for FP1. And btw, I'm not Joe. I think the max score I can ever get in FP is 70 like the trials we had. Fucking fluke I tell you. I guess I shall settle with a B? Satisfactory la. I mean come on. FURTHER MATHS!?!?!? How many of you people can get an A or B for it. *shows smug face*

Hehehe, sorry! I just want to make myself feel better.

I'm better getting paid for working. Five days ok. Actually four days. Ya, four days work for RM100. Kinda good actually. Plus I have extended lunch breaks. AND I can have a break when I please, and and, I can play with the computer when I get a little bored of work. Ah, the bliss.

Anyway, that's some random updates.

Oh, if you do watch the Liverpool Chelsea match, please message me the score ok. I hope I get to catch the match. Ah, I've been a little hush about where I'll be going tomorrow.. I'm actually going to Seremban. For this talk/motivational talk thing. We'll see how it goes. I'm a little reluctant, but I guess it'll do. Somehow. Just a break from home! hahaha.

And after that, come home for awhile and off to Shenzhen, China. Wheee! So far, I've visited various parts of China... The outskirts, near Mongolia, Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, bla bla bla. Will talk more about it when I blog about my trip... Of course when I return la.

Anyway... updated my food blog. Check it out!

=D Outta here!!!

Results are out.

Crazy people get so good grades for Further Maths. Yes, I'm happy for him. But its CRAZY!!!!!! His results la.. for Further Maths alone

FP1 - 95/100
FP2 - 99/100
FP3 - 100/100

Can you fucking believe it? Normal people, will get higher for FP1 and then marks decreases when you reach FP2 and then it increases or levels off for FP3. Its crazy I tell you. CRAZY!!!! And its all in the high 90s. WHAT THE FUCK!?!?! OK OK! JacQ's gotta chill. I'm definitely happy for him. But JEALOUSY and ENVY is definitely printed in bright red across my face. But what to do. My own damn fucking idiotic brain... Good for nothing huh?

Hahaha. No no, I'm just messing. I know my brain is big and I'm smart. That's why I have shit results like this

FP1 - 59/100
Fp2 - 56/100
Fp3 - 58/100

Now, if only the numbers would invert so my results would be like this

Fp1 - 95/100
FP2- 65/100
Fp3 - 85/100

Now now, wouldn't that be a better sight? hahaha... Shit la. If only I was a witch.. or just have a little magic. Life would be so much better. EASIER!!! I could go zap crazy machine Joe. Zap him so that just one or two cells of his brain is mine... and my results would improve like.. TREMENDOUSLY!! haha.

Anyway... My other results are so-so. More or less expected. For Physics surprised.. Oh and Bio 3 too.

Let's show the whole world k?

Bio 3 - 100/100 (I know, like WTF right?!)
Bio 4 - 66/100 (Ahh, I took it a bit too lightly anyway. But it was a shit paper no doubt)
FP 1 - 59/100
FP 2 - 56/100
FP3 - 58/100
Stats 2 - 88/100
Stats 3 - 64/100 (fucking cibai)
Phy 1 - 76/90 (whee, its better than 65)
Phy 3 - 107/120 (hell YEA!!!!!)
Phy 4 - 72/90 (not baddd!)

I'm happy with some results.. especially my Physics. A bit disappointed with Bio 4. oh, and Stats 3 as well. Kinda depressing actually. But shocked for Bio 3 and Stats 2. I remember screwing up Stats 2 so badly. And Stats 3 as well. Oh and Bio 3.... Honestly WTF!!! I think those Brits are blind. But but BUT!!!!! good la. Sure gonna kena from Mei Jean. hahahaha =P just kidding.

Hmm, guess I can't really confirm my overall results. Except maths which I can confidently say is an A. Bio and Physics.. still a B.

Anyway, congrats to Hwei Jene, Karamdeep, Joe, Alvint and Jia Jin. Well those people definitely did way better than me. And its no doubt that their results are way way more of a nicer sight to look at. =) I'm very happy for you guys. Congrats!!! (these are the only ppl whom results I know. So if you jealous... tell me la. I put up your name)

Btw, Jia Jin owes me a drink... And I'm not letting that one go. hahaha. "I'm not as smart as you all, my results like yours la". Talk rubbish really. hahahaha. But congrats.

Eesh, its so embarrassing. Everyone's results are better than mine. hahaha. I feel extremely stupid!! hahaha Wait a second. I am. =P

Uh-oh surely gonna kena from certain people.

Anyway. I'm off. =)

John: No offense, but I think my friend more 'geng' than EK!!! hahaha 95, 99 and 100. *Jacq dreams* for Further maths.. (crazy people!)

I've been avoiding my phone for a few days now. So if you've messaged me or called me, I wouldn't have picked up. I want to escape my "life" for a little while. So what I've decided to do is to work. I'm working for my parents... There's always an advantage. You can have extended lunch breaks, you can have breaks anytime you like and you can nap. But then again, I'm trying my best not to slack. I'm trying to work and get paid rightly. Whee! Don't be surprised if you see me shopping without my mum in tow. Hehehe.

So not really a sweet escape. But it is.. kinda, escape being constantly bugged by people. And I think that would be great... Especially since my results will be released tomorrow. People you can call or message me all you like. My phone will be neglected. =P And I think my parents' have forgotten about my results. Hahaha, my dad's going to East Malaysia tomorrow morning, so yea, he definitely forgot. And my mum? Hmm, hasn't asked or said anything, which means she forgot too. I only remember that its coming out tomorrow because when people told me Aug 16 it would be released... I knew that date, it was very familiar. Kelvind's birthday. So yea, I only remember because after awhile I said to myself, Aug 16 is Kelv's b'day and its the day my results are released. SHIT!

Yesterday I had dinner with my godparents. Ah, good food but then again it just proves that I don't have a big appetite. Kinda sad actually because by the time the good food came... very very fresh fish... BIG prawns, Hokkien Mee (the black noodles) and roasted chicken - I was kinda full. I did manage to eat a little of the fish - to treasure the freshness. Took a small fleshy piece of chicken and had two prawns. Sorry it was just too hard to resist the prawns... More updates in my Food Blog.

I'll be away from home.... 18th till 21st. Which means I'll freaking miss the Liverpool - Chelsea match... *Sob sob* If you do happen to catch the match... PLEASE MESSAGE ME!!!!!!!!!!! thank you!!! =D

And also I'll be in Shenzhen, China from 26th till 30th. I'll spend 26th and 29th night in Crowne Plaza, Shenzhen. According to a family friend who works in the Crowne Plaza, Beijing, he says that the best Crowne Plaza in China is in Shenzhen.. YAY! And the nights in between, I'll be at a theme park. Its a very big one. One Billion YUAN to build. Ya ya, emphasize on YUAN. Not like its USD or EURO or even worse, POUNDS! But still that's A-L-O-T. I guess there'll be some crazy rides that I would dare and some not so daring. We'll see how it goes.

I cannot wait.

But right, now, I'm sick. And I'm sick of being sick? Not really. Hahahaha =P Its ironic, but I guess.... Hmm. I'll recover. Hope so. Its been pretty irritating when my temperature increases and I'm very weak. But anyhow, not much downside. Pretty normal life. =)

People keep on telling me that Gerrard's goal on Saturday was luck. I beg to differ. If there was luck on anyone's side on Saturday, it was definitely Aston Villa's luck.

I'm also very tired of listening to people say that Liverpool winning is always based on luck. You losers can honestly, take a big fat branch (I'd gladly climb a pine tree to get one for you) and stick it up your tight asses and dig around to loosen it up. You guys are so naive and such sore losers. I'm sorry about the language. Its just the way I am.

Look the only reason I've decided to get back and open up and leash it out on my blog is because these people are people I know personally. And just cant admit a good game when they see one. Face it, I'd gladly say Chelsea, ManU or Arsenal played a fab game if they did. I'd never deny it. Yea, I'd point out they weakness and gloat on it. But I'd definitely say who and who played well. I'd even criticise Liverpool. Go and read my Champions League final review for all I care. You can see me lashing out on the Liverpool players. I admit the truth. I don't say that a particular team won because of luck. Unless its VERY freaking clear. You CANNOT deny real skill and passion that is shown my Liverpool players. yea, they all have their periods now and then... But face it. When we play a GOOD game, its GOOD.

After the own goal by Laursen, Liverpool had many chances. But it was definitely luck that kept Aston Villa in the game. All those amazing saves, how often do you see Taylor save like that? Come on, he was great once, but he's gone backwards. And if was lady luck keeping Aston Villa in the game. So you Chelsea supporter, stop denying the fucking facts.

Don't tell me that Gerrard's free kick wasn't meant to be and that the referee was wrong. You can go dig around your bum. It was clear that Petrov stuck his leg out. Its just that Gerrard doesn't do somersaults and fall as if he'd been shot (taken off from Kopblog.com) . And Gerrard took it really well. Come on, how many others have shot such a classic shot in the last five seasons? Frank Lampard can't score such fine goals. Another smart goal was taken by Daniel Agger, in the Champions League semi-finals against Chelsea, crafted by Gerrard. Do not tell me that Gerrard isn't a legend in his time. Don't compare his wage with John Terry and tell me that Steven Gerrard isn't great. You're definitely BLIND! If other Chelsea fans can say it, I don't see why you cannot. Such a sore loser.

Wevind is a ManU fan, a big one. But he doesn't deny a good game. He even says that Luis Garcia is vital in our midfield. Something I agree with. Many say that Luis Garcia is a sissy. Face it, he definitely looks better than the person calling him a sissy.

I'm not asking you to eat back your words or apologise. It doesn't matter to me if you don't. I'm not Gerrard, Garcia or any Liverpool player. I'm a fan. A supporter. I just think that sometimes people are bias and in denial. Sad sad sore losers. Just re-evaluate. Think and stop being an asshole.

Btw, I got pretty irritated. And if it was Fairview or if there were less people, I would have gave you a piece of my mind and told you to go fuck yourself. Because I would have meant it anyway. And for the record, I think John Terry is a great defender, but I say Jamie Carrangher is my GOD in defense. That's my opinion.

I've been sick. And I've been sports deprived.

Well I've actually been sports deprived for the past year. Since A-levels started *blushes* OK OK! Not like I didn't watch sports on the tellie, but you know as in PHYSICALLY playing sports. I've shot hoops but after 15 minutes I'd stop and head back into the house to watch TV or something. I've played badminton... but not that much. I've swam, stopping only after 5 laps. hehe, shit! I really SHOULD get more physically involved. I'm getting fat!!! =O

when we played basketball in the hot scorching sun. But it was ALWAYS worth it. I really miss those times. Of course, badminton isn't as physically draining as basketball but its a start to start Anyway, I did today. Even though I'm sick, I managed to play badminton for about an hour before lightning stroked and we headed indoors. I was sweating LOADS! And it made me feel good. I was breathing fine and my stamina is average. It all reminded me of the times in FIS exercising more. I hope throughout this 3 week break that I have, I'll be exercising more.

After playing so much, there was wind brushing against my skin. Wind breaking on my face and it was good. Not the harsh winter wind, the cool evening breeze. It was good. The kinda breeze you get before a drizzle. Kinda nice, since I was sweating. But not enough to soak up my shirt. I really don't know how guys can sweat so much and soak up their shirts. I remember that before FIS painted the basketball green... We'd play and play and then we'd take a rest and sit on the floor. And when we get up, there'll be a mark of our butts. Our butt sweats? hahaha its kinda funny. But somehow my butt mark never appeared. And the guys' were the most obvious. Well that was good right? To see if the guy even has a butt. =P hahahahahaha! Anyway, us girls just sat and when we got up, we finally didn't bother. But yea, good memories. Funny times. Anyway, I was sweating so much, that after we went in, I went to the kitchen to get a glass of water. I looked at the reflection from the fridge.... Sweat droplets on my face. On my forehead, nose. Sweat running down the sides of my face. Ah, I loved it! Yea yea, I love to see sweat on myself. At least I'd know that I'm working out. One way or rather.

I'm not disgusted by sweat. Honestly, I don't understand those girls who hate sweat. And they don't play sports or work out because they don't want to be sweaty. Ahhh, whatever la. But I'll tell you that I find the amount of sweat a guy produce after a match of basketball/football or any kind of sports revolting. Sometimes its sexy. LOL! It only depends on who's the guys. Guys from my school - revolting. Professional guys - Sexy! hahaha =P Some guys just have the nod, some guys just makes me run. hahaha (soorrrry!)

Not bad ah, sick but able to play badminton. Very nice.

So yea, highlight of my Sunday. Oh had a delicious lunch. Mee Goreng!!! Hehe, my food blog is updated. =D (House of Sudanese Food). Mee Goreng another day? see my moood.

I've decided that throughout this football season, I'll honour the winners of the matches. Well not ALL matches, I'll honour them until I faint. I meant honour the winner of the Liverpool matches. If Liverpool win I'll have their logo. If another team wins, I'll have their logo up.

Big commitment ok. BIG and sometimes I'll have the urge to poke fun at a certain clubs logo. *Ahem*Arsenal*Ahem*Chealsea*Ahem*Manchester United*Ahem* Hehe. So here goes.

Liverpool VS Aston Villa

Remember our (Liverpool fans) opening match in 2002? The one against Aston Villa. Yea, we won that. And its been a 4 year streak of bad luck. We haven't been winning our opening matches since. And we've always started slow each season. Well I guess Aston Villa is our "lucky opening game rivals". Guess I can put it that way. We won that match 1-0. =D

I anxiously waited for the match last night. Very bouncy in my seat. I was alone (as usual) in the dark dark living room. I decided to just on one wall light, so it wouldn't be too bright and the bloody florescent tubes wouldn't make so much noise. Lied down on my favourite chair whilst watching football and watched the ending of the Newcastle-Bolton match. So then, the screen showed the lovely Villa Park and I could feel my heart beating. Torres was starting. YAY! Voronin was on the bench, but I knew he would come on later in the game. Babel was on the bench too. Not a bad starting line-up. Its actually my favourite starting line-up. I'd actually would have just made ONE change. Arbealou. I gotta say that he's not my favourite at the moment. So the starting line-up for Liverpool is Reina, Carrangher, Agger, Riise, Finnan, Arbealou, Alonso, (my future baby's name will have Gerrard in it) Gerrard, Pennant, Kuyt and (my future son's name) Torres. The game started slowly... then the hustle and bustle in midfield were entertaining. And Liverpool's defense was AWESOME! There's NO DOUBT that Liverpool's back four is my ultimate favourite. And it was also good to see Gerrard in center midfield. His fav position and definitely his fans' favourite for him. Its good that (the God) Benitez has realised that and we'll be seeing him in that position more often.

La-di-da-di-blah. Not many goal attempts in the first 20 minutes. And then Liverpool outclasses Aston Villa (all due respect to them), bringing the ball to the other half. Torres is slowly adapting to the EPL. And Gerrard, Kuyt and Torres together make a strong attacking trio.

Gerrard to Kuyt to Torres, shoots and a fine save from Stuart Taylor. Oh wait a minute, Kuyt is still running for the ball. Knicks it in before the crosses the line. And GOAL!!!!!!!!! from Laursen. Poor fella. He wanted to deflect it but it just had to enter his net. Would have been a fine goal if it was at the other end of the field. But no doubt the brilliance of the play. Torres could have scored but it was a good save. But at the end of the day, its the goal that you want. No matter who scores as long as its the team you are rooting for. =D I really did pity Laursen though.

First half ended with Liverpool one up. And definitely displaying a very very good performance. Awesome defending from the back four. Awesome defending. As soon as an Aston Villa has got the ball, there's someone blocking him and then there'll be a second defender to assist the first. And the midfield and defense working together. It was good. And Kuyt really helping out in midfield fighting hard and then upon getting the ball running up front to assist Torres. I love Dirk Kuyt. He's good. Its a pity that Gerrard's attempts didn't hit the back of the net.

Second half showed a more dominating Aston Villa. But credits to Liverpool's defense. Really good. And I'm gonna mention an Aston Villa player, Young, really impressed me. Pennant just couldn't silence him as he did in the first half. The Liverpool players were... a little sloppy and Gerrard was very quiet. Saw a lot of Carrangher and Riise. Riise having some amazing long shots, but pity didn't him the back of the net.

There was one scoring opportunity in the box. Well played by Kuyt and Torres before passing it to Gerrard. Firing it away and a very very courageous save from Gardner. *Respect* I winced, even though I'm a girl. Go figure. hahaha

75 minutes gone. I was thinking that we had bagged this one. Sad when Carrangher was fouled for hand ball in the box. Gardner took the penalty. And I think Reina jumped too early. The Liverpool keeper's fault this time. Its a pity there wasn't the brilliance of penalty saving from the amazing Reina. So the score was 1-1 now

Substitutions for Liverpool was Pennant for Babel. Its really good to see the awesome work of Babel. Helping attack and silencing Young. Bringing the ball forward. Ah, and I realised he looks a LITTLE (very very little) like Wevind from the side. hahaha!

Later on after Aston Villa's goal, the ball was brought forward. And the great Steven Gerrard MBE was running forward with the ball before Petrov scuffled a little. Causing his a foul. Free kick to Liverpool. YEAAAAAAA!! I knew that it was either we got it or we were drawing the game. Yes yes, I know not a very supportive supporter. But that's when you are wrong. I see things realistically but I also do have faith in Liverpool. ALWAYS!

So there was Alonso, Gerrard and Riise. Either one of them to take the ball. I closed my eyes. Really didn't dare to watch it at all. I closed it and didn't dare peek until I heard the commentator say something. Well, the commentator was pretty vague in the excitement of the goal, but I knew that it was over and I just had a feeling it went in. I saw Gerrard run up to the fans and it was our game. Just tough luck for a very good Aston Villa team. Other teams should watch out for them actually. Anyway Gerrard's goal is definitely a classic. Over the tallest man on the pitch, and into the top right corner. There was nothing ANY goalkeeper could have done. And its just the brilliance of Stevie G.

After that goal there was substitutions for the Liverpool side, Voronin for Torres and Sissoko for Arbealou. Voronin didn't get much of the ball. Sissoko tackled, got the ball and then lost it. He's not exactly my favourite but I guess it'll do. A more defensive side to secure that 2-1 win. And it did just that.

Credits to Aston Villa. And BOO to their fans for not being nice to Pennant. But awesome match.

VIVA LIVERPOOL!!!!!!

Although I'm still sick, I'm feeling good.

My EPL is BACK!!!!!!!!! Yay!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait... Two more hours till kick-off. Aston Villa VS Liverpool. =)

I just got back from Rush Hour 3. Another crappy incident at the cinema. There's this woman behind me who laughs... like horribly. And she laughs when the whole theatre is silent. Its pretty damn annoying. And she was talking pretty loudly to her boyfriend so I kept turning around and giving her dagger eyes. Only it was in the dark so she couldn't really see. Don't think she realised that I was staring at her. So then I got so irritated I went, SHhhhhh! pretty damn loudly. But that was at the beginning of the movie. Stupid fuck, don't know how to shut up. So my evening was ruined by this stupid lady. And when the movie ended, I stood up after the bloopers (you cannot watch Rush Hour and miss the bloopers) and stared at her with this really annoyed face. Guess she understood after that.

Anyway my review on the movie? Not as great as the first and second movies. But its good anyhow. Chris Tucker was talking TOO much. But its good. Some good comedy. Not much laughter on MY side. That's when I realise that Malaysians are LAME! (I'm generalising so please don't hurl your comebacks at me. I'm just saying in GENERAL. You can fall under the NOT general crowd if you please). Why I say that they are lame? Because they laugh at ANYTHING that is coming out of either Tucker's or Chan's mouth. ANYTHING at all. It was horrendous to be in that theatre. Every 2 minutes or less everyone will laugh for some really lame shit. I was like.. OMG kill me now! I mean, yea the movie is part comedy. But nothing as great as the second movie. The bloopers weren't as good as well. I remember the second movie's blooper, where Tucker gets a phone call and talks and talks, then Jackie Chan says you're wasting film. That was good. But this one... El Polo Loco. that's funny. And Jackie Chan and PORN!?!?!? hahaha you gotta watch that. Anyhow, yea, not the best. Not my favourite. But worth the watch. I'd give it a 7.5/10. actually 8/10 because Jackie Chan's in it... =P I've got my reasons.

I still think that Transformers is the best movie that's come out this year. I haven't watched POTC YET!!!! And a few others. But out of all I've watched this year, Transformers is the best. In my whole life... Armageddon and Lord of the Rings tops the chart. In my opinion anyway.

A new movies are coming out, The Golden Compass, The Invasion, Zodiac, FREEDOM WRITERS!!!! I wanna watch them.

I'm still sick. yeap, and it sucks. So after the movie we headed to find some food. We decided on Nando's. And opposite Nando's is a herbal drink shop. And my mum told me to get some "leong cha" and I was reluctant because it's gonna be bitter. So I asked my dad to come with me. And he ordered one for sore throat. It was in powder form, then they added some black stuff. YUCK YUCK YUCK! Bitter bitter bitter. I had one mouthful and was swearing upside down in my head. Then my dad said just drink it at one go. Just do it. and I did. DISGUSTING!!!!!! Didn't even give me water or something to gulp down after that. Sigh.

According to my dad, it'll recover by tomorrow. We'll see.

I'm off to wait in suspense for the match. I think I'll head off after half-time. Need to wake up early to bake tomorrow. My family wants more of my Lemon Custard Pudding Cake. Head to my food blog to go see what it is.

Grrr! I need to make some money outta my family. hahahaha =)

I've actually been meaning to type this post since... last week.

I met up with Ureeeya last week Thursday. After my classes, I went to the Bangsar station to pick her up and we went back to my place.

Hmm, upon arrival, chuck our bags near the stairs and head to the kitchen. I was STARVING! So I asked Ureeeya if she minded if we had Maggi Mee. No, so I searched around and we decided on Tom Yam. Not of the Maggi brand, because it just sucks. My family lives on Ruski for Tom Yam noodles... OR the one with the silver pack. But then I realised we had rice and tom yam soup from last night. So we decided to skip the noodles (not good anyway!) and I heated up the tom yam. Whilst waiting I found sausages. Whee! So we had that whilst waiting.

I took out plates and scooped some rice onto the plate. Uree followed suit. And we waited, talked and it was nice. To reminisce with no hard feelings or bad memories with this person. Even though there was, I'm sure we have both let it go - with each other's consent. So after the tom yam was done heating up. I dished it out of the pot and set it on the island (the table in the middle of the kitchen) and we dug in. I'm glad she enjoyed it.

We talked for awhile. Cleaned up. And Ureeeya, you're the GUEST!!!! I'm the host. You do not take the towel and suggest to wipe the table. THAT'S MY JOB!!! But Uree didn't get to clean up anyway. hehe.

Decided to take our shower. She showered in my room. I showered in my parent's room.

I was done before her. Jessebel came into the room and I suggested banging on the toilet door. For Uree to hurry up. Hehehe! Yes, that was Jessebel. not me! =P (I'm swear - remember that?)

Anyhow, after we were done. We didn't really hang out much, but headed out to Felda. For Fairview's very sad and gets more pathetic by the year Honour's Day. Its a school concert held during the end of each academic year, where students from each grade will perform some sort of dance/act/whatever.

I arrived, and to my ultimate horror - we DIDN'T miss the speeches. Yes, we were banking on missing it and plus we were already one hour late. Freaking hell. How long do speeches take? Or did the event start late? Sigh. Fairview oh Fairview... where my futures laid... *bleuk*

Anyway, after the speeches there was the intermission. We waited around before deciding to go to the toilets. We needed to piss ok! Headed in. and I came out before Ureeeya... which makes me wonder... what do you do in toilets, uree? haha =P

Anyhow, on the way to the toilet, Julz horny male classmates were there at the stairs and so one of them asked if I was Juliana's sister. I looked at him and was hesitant with my answer. I finally settled on a NO. Because I kinda had enough of younger kids (especially boys from my sister's grade) fantasizing. Eeew!

So whilst waiting for her, my juniors came into the toilet. And nah, I don't really liaise with them. I waited around like a dumbfuck. And they were taking pictures in the toilet. Heck, its NOT that I don't do that. I just do it when there's hardly ANYONE in the toilet. The toilet was bustling with people. I turned my back on them. Hey, its not like they are THAT friendly either ok! They totally ignored me and acted as if they were the bigshots. So I let it go. Why the F should I bother huh? When she, uree finally came out. We headed back up and took our places back on the seat. Sat around and decided to snap a photo (which she eventually sent to sailesh. bum). with my phone. I left my camera at home. (eeks).

So after a moment of bumming around and talking, I heard this voice that was so freaking familiar. I looked behind me and there he was. No no! Not someone that great or special. It was only Kelvind. Something funny happened when I saw him. I don't think Ureeeya realised, but it was between me and him and when it finally ended I'm like... thinking to myself... WTF did that happen? its so freaking weird. Anyway, and then I realised ROSHAN was there. Not really to the delight of my darling Ureeeya. But she need not worry, he didn't sit next to her. =) After a very short moment of sitting and talking so briefly. They left. And we started our bitching session on them. Hahahahaha! I'm kidding.

So we sat there, met with a few people. And then to my dreaded horror, my parents were outside and we had to leave. Well Julz, bel and myself. oh and Natalia. She was staying over.

I'm really sorry Ureeeya. =(

Anyway, said my goodbyes to the great Wevind. =D
And then Young Jin. Ah, how I miss him so much. And those great hugs. ;)

Then, I finally said goodbye to Ureeeya. She's the best. I miss you so much. xxx

My parents had decided to eat WanTon Mee along the roadside of a highway. I was reluctant because 1) I was wearing heels 2) I was wearing a long skirt 3) I didn't want to fall in my heels or dirty my skirt. But we went anyhow. I wasn't hungry because I had a good "lunch".

Hmm, the night ended me being kicked out of my room. Because Natalia was sleeping in the room so that meant - NO SPACE FOR ME! So I just bunked in John's room.

That's that. I miss them all. And I love them all. SO MUCH! Each one of them that I saw that night.

It STILL surprises me how much Kelv talks online but so little in person. Well maybe to me. =S

Toodles!

Fever's goneee!!! yay!!

Flu has subsided!!!!!!! wheee!

But no, the fecking (it's not a word you know. Fecking. So I used the spell checker and the first on the list that they suggested was FUCKING!!! LMAO! so I shall use it.) fucking sore throat has to stay. No no, I'm ok with the sore throat staying in my throat for free. That's fine, but it has to bring along its friends and make my throat a living hell. Well, most likely a very very pleasant stay for them, but not for me. Plus I've been feeding them oily food and spicy food. And not to forget. JUNK FOOD!!! its no wonder that the sore throat brings its friends. Basically, what I'm saying (minus the sarcasm or whatever else you want to call it) is that the sore throat has gotten worst.

My throat itches and I just wanna stuff my hand done my mouth and scratch the insides. Grrr! and it doesn't help that I've 'developed' a cough. Yippeee doo daaa deee!

Grrr!

Surprise Surprise! Today, after two or three days of not checking my emails... I received.... (hold your breath) 15! - YES! FIFTEEN! - emails. OK, maybe its not a major shocker to you people who gets like what? 15 emails PER DAY! But yea, my main point is that... 15 for me is ALWAYS a big number.

OK OK! There was a point in time that I got 100 plus emails in a week. But that's with all the forwarded emails that never interests me. I always delete them anyway. Its always the same thing or same meaning. And I've read it all before, so I check it all and DELETE!!! perfect no? Except that's when I start to accidentally delete important emails. Pffft! I end up closing that email because it was just too much to handle and I didn't like all those forwarded emails. Anyhow, people stop sending them. Because we all grew up and weren't so gullible. Stupid stuff saying that if you don't forward it you'll have a bad love life or you'll die or some bullshit.

EEKS! Maybe THAT'S WHY I'M HAVING A BAD LOVE LIFE!!!!!!!!

Hahahahahahaha!

I'm just messing. Bad love?? go to hell. I choose to have it. =P

So I've updated. Some crap eh? But heyyyy! at least it kept you entertained for about 5 minutes (depending on how fast you read!)

Hahaha

Aite, today the group... namely, Karam, Hwei Jene, Joe, Kelly, Edmund, Gavin and myself went to Bangsar to have lunch. And it was good. Saravanaa? Yea, I think that's it. Its located along the main road, you know from HELP to MidValley. That road you take. Its a corner lot, near Public Bank. Further up is McDonald's. Its the Telawi side. And its awesome food. Although its vegetarian its AWESOME! *drroools* One dish you GOTTA have, Malai Kofta. Its a dish that has a cashew paste which is the gravy and some fried/baked something. I know, CASHEW NUT!!!! NUTS!!! If you people even KNOW me a bit, you'll KNOW that ANY nut dishes, be it peanut, almond, cashew, pistachio or WHATEVER it is, I back away. I do NOT touch it. So I was very surprised. But I suppose that's the ONLY thing that I will ever touch that is nutty. You should see me pick out the peanuts in brownies, or cakes. Its funny. Anyway you have to have a meal there at least ONCE in your lifetime. But once you go there... Haiyo, you'll go back. But its a start ok! Go go go!!!

I'm promoting but I get nothing out of it. LOL!

I've decided to switch my food blog. The MSN Spaces Live thingy just isn't that good. Especially with pictures. It does kinda suck. So I guess I'll let you know when I set up an account. =D

*smiles*

Yea yea! Sorry la!!!

I'm off now. *coughs*

Just ONE thing and I emphasize... ONE THING!!!!!!!!!!!! you need to know about me right now.

Ok OK!!!!!!!!! Apart from me being a Liverpool fan and loving Coco Pops... and this and that. And a self-obsessed maniac (more or less).. and wanting praise... and waiting for the dreaded August 16th. Nooooooooo! Not because its Kelv's birthday but because that's when my results is released. Whee, let's see if he is GOOD or BAD luck. =)

Anyway that ONE THING is...

I'm fucking sick!!!!

I hate being sick. But then I love it, because I get to kacau my siblings to do stuff for me. HAHAHAHA! I'm EVIL, and I'll allow you to say that.

All started with the dreaded flu. Then blocked nose... *shits*... Then don't know how so feverish. Then now, sore throat. So its a nice combination of fever, flu (but this is recovering) and sore throat. Bum!

Anyway, according to Sailesh, when I picked up his phone call at 11.50pm last night, I was mumbling. HELLO!!!!!!! I was sleeping and too tired. Plus, I'm sick. And he very well continued, asking me about Physics. AND I sounded so dreadful. hahaha My voice. Its so nasal. Eesssh!

ANyhow, I'm off.

I'm gonna FLUNK my Bio Test tmrw. GUARANTEED!

Let's backtrack to yesterday first. I slept pretty late (about 1.30am) and I woke up at 6am. Yes on a Saturday! Just go on and call me a retard. I reluctantly woke up at 6am on a Saturday. Was off to pray. Anyway, so I woke up early. Then did what I had to do. Had breakfast and headed home. I stayed at home. I was stuck between Guitar Hero 2 or studying. Not because I've got no life and nothing better to do. Not because I study for fun. Not because I feel like I need to study and be smart and outclass everyone else. NO! None of that bullshit, I was thinking of studying because I have a Biology Test. That's that ok! So well... I decided to go Guitar Hero 2. After all, its ONLY a test no? (not really but sigh, I regret ok!) I should have actually decided to sleep. But I don't know. I stayed awake somehow. At about 5pm, I decided to sleep. I had a VERY VERY good sleep and it was the BOMB! So then I slept till about 7.30pm. Headed for my shower (hehe) and then skipped dinner. I got tired at about 9pm, but managed to stay awake till about 10pm. I slept at 10pm, whilst my sister was reading Harry Potter. Yeap. 10pm on a Saturday night. This is soooo not me!

I slept and slept. Had a bad dream. I woke up at about 7-ish am wondering if it was a dream or it was reality. Thank goodness it was a dream. I fell back asleep. Woke up at about 9am to another bad dream. Slept on it again. Slept for another 45minutes before deciding to get up once and for all. Got ready and went downstairs. My daddy was cooking. I went to kepoh. CHU KIOK CHOU!!!!!! (again) hahahaha but this time around I got to find out the EXACT ingredients... puta!!! Two whole bottles of vinegar... *drops dead* Will update on that another time.

Then my mum came home from the MINES and told me to get ready. We were going out for lunch. Had lunch at KLCC - House of Sudanese food. My review will be up soon. After lunch headed to Kinokuniya. John needed to get some books and my siblings needed to get some books for their new year, come September. When Julz and I walked into KLCC, we were already going, "we're going to meet people we know AGAIN!". So browsing through the books in Kinokuniya, I found Queen of Babble - Meg Cabot, and Nisha Minhas latest - Tall, Dark & Handsome. I decided to get them both. And I did just that. I was standing around looking for my sister and parents - whom had gone looking around. Then I spotted this person. Daniel. He's in Julz grade. Then when Julz came and I told her she said yea, she saw him too. She was asking where Queen of Babble was, cause she was looking around for it. And I told her I got it. And then she said, "hey, isn't that Chin Fai?" and I turned around... and well.. He did look extremely familiar, with the tinted glasses. Then I realised it was him and decided to go and talk to him. Caught up a little. Asked each other how the other was. Nothing much and then I decided to depart cause my family was gathering already. So that was it. Surprising how this world is getting smaller each time Julz and I head out somewhere. Then later when we were heading to the car, we met Angela, whom is in a grade below Julz year. Our mums talked briefly.

It all started with dinner at Shangri-La during the puasa month.

And then every time we go out somewhere, we'd whisper to each other, ' we're going to meet someone we know'. Then it was lunch at Jogoya on Father's Day. And then there was today. I can't really remember if there was anymore.

It just shocks me at how coincidental life is.

Returned from lunch. Didn't bother changing. Cleared the level of Puzzle Bubble that everyone else in my family couldn't... Wheeee! Looks like John's not the pro. Well, he admits he ain't the pro in Puzzle Bubble, and I, Jacqueline Chan, shall take the honor of being named the pro of Puzzle Bubble. Played awhile more, since Puzzle Bubble on PSP is somehow more addictive. I stopped and headed downstairs to watch CSI: NY and CSI: Miami. We recorded it. Then my family, with the exclusion of John and myself, went to watch Harry Potter. I decided NOT to watch it because 1) EVERYONE has said its a disappointment, so the pros: a) I wont get disappointed, b) my parents save RM8. 2) Nothing exciting would happen, example: MeiJean's encounter when she went to watch HP. 3) TGV's seat sucks. 4) Lazy to go. John had already watched it and unlike Transformers and Click, he didn't watch it a second time... Meaning it must have sucked.

I stayed home and then showered a nice long shower, since my sis wasn't around to ask me to hurry up, and my parents won't be around to nag about me taking long showers. Then after my shower, I took out my Bio past years... And its been sitting right next to me ever since. Looking at the cover is exciting as it gets. wheee! *high already*

So yea, had dinner. and that's it so far.

I'm off.

I'll blog about 020807. Honour's Day with Ureeeya - Back to FIS... BLEURGHHH!!! but it was worth it, to meet up and get crack on... screwdrivers... and stuff. hahaha

Liverpool VS Shanghai Shenhua. Score 2-0. Scorers: Liverpool's very own Steven Gerrard MBE and Liverpool's record breaking signing Fernando Torres.

Here watch the video. Absolutely awesome. Just watch it.

Torres' is classic. Really really classic. Very good. Hope to see more of those kinda of goals this coming season. Gerrard is the bomb for long range shots. No doubt about that. Remember those goals against West Ham United... And then again in the World Cup 2006. Against the same goalkeeper. Real class.

Hail Liverpool.

And as the end of the video stated - Blood is RED for a reason. LFC for Life!

Btw, this is Torres' first goal since he's signed on. Just superb.

Viva El Nino. Viva Gerrard. VIVA LIVERPOOL!!!!

A girl's best friend is clothes! and shoes. And ACCESSORIES!!!!!

My parents came back from China and they really really DID go shopping. Wheeeeee! We're lucky kids, NO! Not spoilt. Mind your language PLEASE!

So here's the pictures. Wheeee

An overview of the things my parents got me. There's actually bags and stuff, but then... I don't wanna post it. hehehe I'll go into details about it later on.

Ah, the lovely shoes and accessories. Not cheap, I'm telling you - NOT cheap. My jaw literally DROPPED when my mum told me the price of the shoes and accessories. Well its probably normal for you people who buy branded shoes and accessories. But I'd never pay that much for shoes and accessories. Seriously!!!

Ah, here are the lovely comfortable shoes. The brown one is high heeled. Pretty comfortable for high heels actually. And the back doesn't 'eat' my feet. Its made of leather. I could smell the leather, heck, I can STILL smell the leather. Hmm, Juliana got a similar one but her's has a ribbon. Jessebel got a black shiny one. But she's not used to wearing such high heels. Lol. The red pair are kind of like sandals. Just so your know, you can NEVER find such amazing designs in Malaysia. Its extremely comfortable and I love it. I have my doubts about wearing it to college because... I don't ever want to wear it to filthy places. hahaha I'm kidding. I'd wear it one day. Jessebel has the exact same pair except her feet are huge, so its in a bigger size. Juliana has a black pair. Julz and I can interchange. Our feet sizes are the same.

The good good expensive stuff. Girls, you can JUST admire. You are NOT allowed to lay your hands on them. =D hehe

Yes yes, lovely lovely hairbands. There are three. Two are gold in colour. And one is blue. The blue one is simple but really cool. The one I like most is the double gold banded one with a flower on each band.

And the clothes. Julz and I share these. hahaha. Jacobson was the one that got really really a lot of clothes.

wheee!!!

This was actually last month, but we have a PSP!!!!!!!!! hehehe. My parent's friend cum supplier bought it for us. Complete with all sorts of accessory - rubber covering, headphones, strap, the cloth spongy covering thing. Only thing that wasn't there was a bigger memory. But I'm not complaining. Its a bloody PSP. haha

Jessebel got a Louis Vuitton sling bag. Julz got Versace. I got a briefcase kinda thing. Versace. My dad got a Louis Vuitton wallet. John got a Polo perfume and a Versace briefcase.

toodles ~~

Yea!

I cook! Yes I do! Mei Jean, does it amaze you? =P

So what did I cook? I cooked chili con carne for dinner. Its a Mexican dish and its delicious! Its spicy. Wasn't as spicy as chili padi, but I wanted it to be. I added loads of pepper. Yum Yum! My family L.O.V.E.S PEPPER!!!

I admit, I didn't prepare the dish from scratch, I kinda bought the ready made salsa. I improvised, I used chapatti instead of nachos or tortilla chips, because I couldn't find any. So not my fault. I added onions. Hmm, I used minced meat (pork) instead of ground beef.

Sadly, I didn't take a photo. But I'd search on the net for a picture. And I swear to God, it tastes absolutely FABULOUS!!!

Of course, I didn't make something that looks so crap like that. Ceh!

Anyway, head to my food blog for more details. Well, it is a FOOD blog after all. =D
