Good things started coming from 10pm last night. I was watching wrestling, WWE, and (yay!) HBK and Cena start talking about a title match at Wrestlemania... and then Edge and Orton come to spoil the party. But of course, nothing was for sure yet as Undertaker won the Royal Rumble... *sigh* But all in all, this means that Wrestlemania will be something to look out for. Cena VS Undertaker for the WWE Champion title. *brings back memories* Yes that happened before... Another showdown with the Dead Man a hella load more scary. But he was A HELLA LOAD more scary way before.. years ago in fact. Then he wasnt so scary and then got scary again. ANYWAY! so there's the match of Rated RKO (Edge and Orton) VS One half of Degeneration X, Shawn Michaels, HeartBreakKid the Showstopper teaming up with the awesome WWE Champion who defended his title against the fat Somalian Bulldozer (my bum la!), John Cena. And DAMN! I was just anticipating that match the whole time. And what happens?? Well the time comes.. and I needed to wee wee..... BADLY! and thank goodness for such a thing called recording. So when I rushed to the toilet, I recorded and then... came back and enjoyed every moment of it. HBK was right that Cena was no Triple H... But no doubt about it their teaming up is fab. And I'm proud to say that HBK managed to block the very sad RKO. Which btw,... what a sad name. Sweet Chin Music is hella load more chunner... FU too! hahahaha So Edge is down after tagging Orton into the ring. HBK is a little worn out, tags Cena into the ring. Plants a FU onto Orton and 1,2,3! We have a new Tag Team Champion. Woohooo and btw, it was about time. Cena the WWE Champion and HBK the two time Royal Rumble champion very closely becoming the three times. And btw, HBK is my fav. He's just... wow... I... grrr!
Watching wrestling again... like a "routine" I always had before form4.. It reminded me of the times I spent with Tyrone. We had something in common... We both watched wrestling every Tuesday night and would message each other whilst the matches were going in. (and it happened for football matches too). Unfortunately for me, one girl mistook my closeness to Tyrone as... more than friends... that me having a crush on him.. and he got together with that girl.. and things just started going outta hand. Well... Good times. And I gotta say, the memories are good things. I'll always treasure Tyrone (I know his last name but he doesnt like ppl sayin it so I respect that ;D) I miss him so much! *sigh* Its depressing when you think about it. All communication siezed cause of our different schools. Pity. But I know we'll catch up with one another one day. =D And I look forward to those good times.
When you walk through a storm
Hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark
At the end of the storm
Is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark
Walk on through the wind
Walk on through the rain
Tho' your dreams be tossed and blown
Walk on, walk on
With hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone
Yes, you know what that is isnt it? You'll Never Walk Alone. Liverpool won against West Ham, 2-1... Kuyt and Crouch. HAHAHAHAHA When my sister finds out she'll be all "Told you jie, Crouch is good" sigh! hahahaha. Did you know something? Steven Gerrard is 10 years and 2 days older than me. Now now, there would be no problem marrying him AT ALL. Because my parents are 10yrs and a few months apart right? HAHAHAH but he's taken. shucks! And did you know that Luis Garcia is a June baby. 24th June... 1978.. makin him older than Stevie G... well whatever.. there'll be more Liverpool footballers for me to set my sights on. HAHAHAHA. I'm in such a good mood because the win at Anfield against Chelsea is still bloody clear in my mind. And it always brings a smile to my face. When I daydream of Pennant's goal... wow! Anyway here's details on me being a Liverpool fan.
I've been a Liverpool fan ever since... I started schooling in Alice Smith. Although then, I wasnt THAT interested because none in my family watched football. It all started in the 1998 World Cup. My mum was pregnant with my little brother and she always stayed up to catch the matches. I couldnt sit there with her because I had to go to school and I didnt particularly understand football. That time Beckham was in ManU and all we ever heard about was ManU and Beckham... Then slowly I got to know of Liverpool. When I joined FIS in 2000, my heart knew it was Liverpool. Everyone else I talked to was a ManU or Arsenal fan.. And I was like... whatever, I'm a liverpool baby. To be honest, I started supporting Liverpool because of Michael Owen. But when he left for Newcastle... I stayed on with Liverpool... My support for Liverpool grew so strongly. I didnt always catch their matches. I only read about their wins and loss from newspapers... Slowly I started to catch the matches... Started falling in love with the game... (not the players!). Got to understand the game well and then just... Boom! I was supporting Liverpool like god knows what. Humble when we lost, Victorious when we won. I admitted when Liverpool played badly. There was no point denying the facts right? But when people dissed Liverpool.. there was no way that was gonna happen. I didnt know every single Liverpool player by face. But slowly learnt. Found out that Dominic (my senior aka Dom) was a Liverpool fan. And as far as I knew, we were the only two in FIS. Then came Jaturun (Neung), he's not my senior but older than me. He's in the class that focuses on building their english lauguage and stuff. He's still in FIS and graduating soon. So that made 3 of us... and slowly things got into my head and I understood the game. knew most of the players by face. I watched the 1st Half of their 2005 UEFA match... we were 3 down and I had school the next day, so went to bed. Woke up and watched the news and found out we won. I was speechless... Went to school. was talking to a few seniors and then Dom told me what happened. He went to sleep as well and woke up in time to watch the penalties. Then the following year I watched the match against West Ham.. the whole thing. Chills were running down my spine as West Ham shot goal after goal and Liverpool... had nil. My dad, mum, brother was there saying that Liverpool would not recover.... But I didnt say anything and just continued watching. I remember I couldnt sit still throughout the whole second half... Kept going from lying down to sitting up straight on the couch. And then... 1 goal... then the second and the third and we tied. I remember I felt sick during the penalties.. I couldnt watch.. I needed to puke... I managed to survive it... Covered my eyes with my hands but caught every shot... It was fantastic because my mum LOVES penalties... yeap she does... and I was so happy for the save... then it hit me we won... then I thought, " I can finally sleep now ". This was less than a year ago... Liverpool moments are still the freshest in my mind. =D
Liverpool is doing well now. Winning 9 of their last 10 matches. Sadly Reina didnt manage to keep the clean sheet... But all in all... I've got one thing to say. Its gonna be the REDS for me, all the way. "Liverpool is my religion, Anfield is my church." This is something I got off another Liverpool fan. He's someone that I have not met, just chatted. And its pretty amazing how people get together through sports particularly football. Everything is forgotten when it comes to football. Although there are other sports that bring people together, football by far is the strongest. And there's no doubt about it. Yeap, and its defnitely part of the Good Things in my life.
I think there's 'nuf said about the good things in my life that I will remember. There's a hella load more. but I think sports always gives me a high that cannot be replaced. (from the experiences I've had ok!) Of course, another good thing would definitely be my family. We're somehow different from other families. Not dysfunctional (not that all families are), we're normal but with a twist.
Anyway my family needs no special mention because everyone who knows me well enough knows that my family is not a good thing. Its an incredible thing. You wouldnt understand! hahaha
Anyway a perfect post.. in my thoughts. =D
